* - At exit 18, take slip road toward Rugby / Rail Freight Terminal / Hinckley: 0.3 miles

• - At roundabout, take 1st exit onto A50: 3 miles
• - Pass through 4 roundabouts, remaining on A510: 4 miles
• - Turn right onto Woodway Lane: 0.8 miles
• - Turn right toward Frolesworth Road: 0.7 miles
• - Turn left onto Frolesworth Road: 0.7 miles
• - Arrive at LE17 5BZ on the left

Players are encouraged to bring IC tents. There will be a separate space set aside for OC camping. If you have booked a bunk and have this confirmed then one should be available for you.

If you choose to sleep in the main hall after time-out, you must vacate this area by 9.30 am each morning. Please note it is October and likely to be very cold, you are advised to bring warm clothing and bedding.

Food and non alcoholic beverages will be provided. Alcohol is not provided - players are encouraged to bring alcohol for their own consumption as well as for IC trade.

We ask players to bring their own lanterns (oil, candle or suitiably IC electric) if at all possible.

Please Bear This Advice In Mind: Event 3 will be set in Crow's Copse (B:8), in the depths of the Wild Wood. We are unlikely to be using electric lighting for the event. It's likely to be dark early and darker than previous events.

• Players are welcome on site from 2pm on Friday 28th October. We look forward to meeting you at the event!
• Players should be off site by 5pm on Sunday 30th October.
• Please note that the clocks will go back one hour at 2am on Sunday 30th Oct -

Time in:

• Friday 28th : 8pm to 1am
• Saturday 29th: 10am to 1am
• Sunday 30th: 10 am to 2pm

Players are welcome to continue to role play IC outwith these times, but should not conduct any activities that require ref/admin presence - this includes character death.

• - No fireworks or sky lanterns on site
• - Fires only allowed in main campfire circle or on altar fires provided.
• - Please bag up your rubbish (including cigarette butts) and remove it from site when you leave.
• - Do not for any reason cut or wilfully damage any trees or sapplings on the campsite.
• - All ditches on the site are out of bounds.
• - There is an OC chapel area on site. Please do not use this area for IC purposes.

(Concession rates of £50 (Standard) and £60 (Late) are available for those with proof of eligibility. Concessions apply to unemployed in receipt of benefits, full time students, OAPs and registered disabled)

Bunks are available - please add £5 if you would like to book a bunk. We will announce here when no bunks remain.

Out-of-Character Information and Directions:

Event III - “The Call of the Wild : Hunting Songs” will be hosted on 28th – 30th October 2011, at Ullesthorpe Scout Camp, Leicestershire.

BOOKING FORM

What is included in the price:

• A fantastic LARP event.
• Downtime post-event.
• Accommodation on site: There will be a small space set aside for OC camping and players are encouraged to bring IC tents. There are also 28 bunks available - however as these are limited we are charging for those that wish to book a bunk, until bunk places run out. It will also possible to sleep indoors on the floor of the main hall, after time-out.
• Catering: The following meals are provided and covered in the cost:

Friday evening: Light evening supper Saturday: Cooked or cereal breakfast, Lunch:Soup Kitchen and Fruit, Evening Meal Sunday: Cooked or cereal breakfast

Alcoholic Beverages are NOT provided, although groups are welcome to bring their own for IC trade. Tea, coffee and fruit-juice will be provided.

Arrival times: We hope that players will be able to arrive on site from 2pm on Friday 29th and need everyone off site by 5pm on Sunday 31st.

Booking Process:

1. Complete the BOOKING FORM
2. Make your payment by the chosen method. If you choose to pay by bank transfer you will need to email us for these details. If paying by cheque please mail it to us at: Firecat Masquerade, 13 Trafalgar Road, Portslade, Brighton & Hove, BN41 1LD and note the names and character names of those you are paying for.
3. We will not process booking forms until your payment has been received, so it is vital to note on the booking form, how and when you paid. If you have a transaction reference number for a transfer / pay-pal payment this will help us trace it.
4. When we have received both form and payment we will process your booking.

1. For new players/characters: you will then receive an Extended Cultural Brief for your chosen culture, along with a Username and Password which will allow you to access the online character creation system held at http://witw-dt.dyndns.org/. We will also send you details on how to access and use this system.
2. Returning players and characters will receive a confirmation email to indicate that we have received your booking.
3. If you have not received contact from us within a week, please email us at firecat.masquerade@gmail.com to confirm your booking.

Downtime Tickets

Unfortunately, Downtime Tickets are no longer availiable - while it was a nice idea in principle, the problems involved in handling downtime tickets far outweighed the benefits.
